Club Marítimo
El Real Club Marítimo es un club privado con fines deportivos, situado en Santander.
Fue proyectado por el arquitecto Gonzalo Bringas y fundado en 1927, siendo una escisión del Real Club de Regatas había sido fundado en 1870.
El apoyo de su Presidente de Honor, el Rey Alfonso XIII, que participó en la actividad social y deportiva del Club, durante sus veraneos en el Mar Cantábrico, dieron un fuerte impulso a la institución, que, rápidamente se convirtió en el referente náutico de Santander.
El edificio cuenta con una sede social, levantada sobre pilotes de hormigón armado junto al espigón de Puerto Chico. El local original, situado en el mismo lugar, fue saqueado e incendiado en 1932.Incluye salones, oficinas, comedores, vestuarios y en la dársena 225 amarres, así como 900 m2 para embarcaciones de vela ligera.

Club Marítimo
The Royal Maritime Club of Santander is a private sports club situated in Santander. It was projected by the architect Gonzalo Bringas and founded in 1927 as a separation from the Royal Club of Boat Racing which was founded in 1870.
The support of its honorary president, King Alfonso XIII, who participated in the social and sporting activity of the club during his summer stays in Santander, gave it a strong institutional push and quickly became the maritime reference of Santander.
The building has a social center which is raised by cement blocks next to the breakwater of Puertochico. The original construction, situated in the same place, was looted and burned in 1932. It has salons, offices, dining rooms and its inner harbor manages 225 berths for boats and has 900 square meters for sail-boats.
